It might be true that in absolute numbers poor whites are propelling Trump’s chances for a second term. But just as disturbing is the number of people with plenty of money and plenty of supposed intelligence (who at least *should* know better) who are onboard too. Even driving the train. Who knows how many do it for personal gain, or simply depravity, or ignorance, or whatever. But we didn’t rank Nazis based on their motivations.
